Going to the gym to train the upper body? This could be for you. For many of us, warming up to lift often requires that we first calm down. A lot of the time we're getting to the gym after a stressful day at work. The usual thought is then to try and add more stress to the system in the form of a hard warm up in order to get us into a state of heightened arrousal just to be able to get through the session. In the same way you can't rev a car more that is already redlining, the body has it's limit. So in order to get the most our of our session we often to need to drop down a few gears first. This class is perfect before an upper body weight lifting session. Take your phone out on the gym floor, pop your head phones in and let us guide you through a nice little start to your workout. 🧘
