Everyone needs rotation at the hips; it's the foundation of healthy hips. But hip external rotation can be particularly important if you like to weightlift (squatting in particular), do jiujitsu or any kind of dynamic sport. In this workout, we train hip external rotation from a bearsit position, which can make it difficult to feel a stretch but is great when you're short on time because you can do both hips together; perfect for this express workout. We then challenge hip external rotation control with some end range hinges and holds.
