The L Sit. Sure it looks kinda cool if you can do one but training for the L Sit Hold has many benefits aside from showing off at parties or down the playground with your kids. To be able to perform one we need a decent amount of postrior pelvic tilt, straight leg hip flexion and scapular depression. We also need good managment of intra-abdominal pressure as well as lower core, hip flexor and quad strength among other things. I'm sure you'll agree all of those qualities are useful in a lot of other things we might like to do with our body. So this session we'll be using the L Sit as a vehilce to train all those qualities and by the end the cramps might have you screaming "Bloody L'! 😉
