Scap-tacular - Week 1
Restorative Strength
•
33m
Once we have a achieved a better position of the ribcage (and shoulderblades), which we focus on a lot in No Chill No Gains classes, it is important to re-train the muscles of the left/right shoulderblade respectively. Due to our asymmetric patterns the left and right scapula have different needs that need to be adressed after re-positioning.
This class series is all about re-storing appropriate strength and function of the muscles around the shoulderblades, so can live life without constantly worrying about re-injury.
In this first class Maria will introduce the muscle groups we‘ll focus on in the next 4 weeks and get you started with a first set of techniques that we will refine and progress over the course of the series.
Equipment:
-2 Yoga Blocks
-1 Light resistance band attached on a door slightly above shoulderlevel
-1 Dumbbell 1-2 kilos
