Relieving The exTension (22nd June)
Integrated Strength
•
53m
In this Integrated Strength class we look at the maximising our ability to use our glutes during hip extension. Due to our western lifestyle, many of us are stuck in a pelvic position that does not allow our glutes to contract properly and so when we squat we end up relying on other tissues to do the job (hello lower back and knees). So we explore exercises that get us out of that position and then integrate what's happening at the pelvis and hips with the foot. Be warned, this is a peach griller! 🍑🔥
Equipment Needed:
An elevated surface (chair, sofa, bed)
A yoga block (or small stack of books)
A small towel
Some wall space
